Why we built FairHitch
FairHitch started with our own search for a Class B adventure van. My wife and I had never bought an RV before, and the prices overwhelmed us.
Every dealer had a different number. There was the show price, the special-event price and the sticker price. Every unit was always “on sale,” but hardly ever really on sale. Working out what any of those numbers meant was the hardest part of the search.
So we built the tool we wished we’d had: the same RV lined up across dealers, with every price showing where it came from and the day we saw it. Dealers can’t pay us to change a price or a label.
