Privacy policy

Last updated October 26, 2026

Tier Services L.L.C., doing business as FairHitch ("we", "us"), runs this website. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do not do. In short: we collect very little, and we do not sell your data to data brokers or advertisers.

What we do not do

  • No ad pixels, social-media trackers or third-party analytics on the Site today. If we add display ads, we will update this page before they appear and explain your choices.
  • We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. If you ask a dealer about an RV, we use your request to follow up with you and may pass it to that dealer (see below). We may earn a fee when you request a quote.
  • We do not build profiles of visitors. You do not need an account to browse the Site.
  • We do not publish information about private people. The listings we show are dealers' own public ads.

What we collect, and why

Links to dealer sites

When you follow a "dealer's page" link on our pages, the link passes through our server. We note the RV, the dealer, which of our pages the link was on, and a scrambled version of your IP address (a "hash"). We mix it with a random value that we throw away every day, so it cannot be turned back into your address. We do not record your email address or your real IP address in that log. We use it only to count clicks.

If you get a Report

The Report is free. We ask for your email address. We keep it with a record of which listing you asked about, the time, and a copy of the Report we made. That lets us show you the Report, email you the link and answer questions. We show a summary on screen and email the link to the full Report to that address. We note the time the link is first opened. We do not use the address for anything else. If you tick the box "Email me when this unit's price drops", we also record a price-drop alert, as described below. If you do not tick it, you are not signed up for anything. We never sell your email address. To have it and the Report record deleted, email support@fairhitch.com from that address (or tell us the Report number). We limit how many Reports one address can ask for per day, to prevent abuse.

If you use "Check availability"

We collect what you type: your email address (required), and, if you choose, your name, a message of up to 1,000 characters and a phone number. We also store the dealer and RV you asked about, the advertised price at that moment, the page you were on, the exact consent wording shown next to the button, your IP address and browser identifier (user agent), and the time. We keep a phone number only if you tick the separate consent box that names the dealer. Without it, we discard the number and use your email only. We never ask for Social Security, credit, income or insurance information.

  • What we do with it. We read your request and follow up by email, send you one acknowledgement, and may pass your request, with the details you gave, to the dealer you asked about so it can answer you. We may earn a fee when you request a quote. It never changes a price label. We do not sell your details to data brokers or advertisers, and we do not use them for unrelated marketing.
  • Calls and texts. Only with the consent box, only about that RV, and only from that dealer and FairHitch. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP to opt out.
  • How long. We keep these requests for up to 730 days, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at support@fairhitch.com.

If you send the dealer opt-out / correction form

We collect what you type: your name, title, dealership name and website, business email, optional phone number, the listings involved and any notes. We use it only to check who you are, act on your request, and keep a record of what we did. We do not sell or share it.

If you email us

We keep the message and your address so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.

If you ask for price-drop email alerts

On a listing or model page you can ask for an email when a price drops. We collect your email address, what you asked to watch (one listing, or the Real Price of a floorplan or model), the time you submitted the request (your consent request), and, once you confirm, the time you confirmed and the price at that moment. We also store two random codes, one for the confirmation link and one for the unsubscribe link. We do not record your IP address for this feature beyond the ordinary server logs described below.

  • Double opt-in. We first send one message asking you to confirm the address. Until you press the confirm button, no alerts are sent, and an unconfirmed request is deleted after 7 days.
  • What we send. Only that confirmation message and, after you confirm, an email when the price you are watching goes down. Each alert has a one-click unsubscribe link and our postal address. We do not use the address for marketing, and we do not sell, rent or share it, other than with the email service that sends the message for us.
  • Unsubscribing. The link in every email stops the alerts right away. We keep a small record of an unsubscribed request (email address, what you watched, and the dates) so we can show that your opt-out was honored. Email us if you want that record erased.
  • Copies of messages. We keep a copy of each message we send or prepare in our own database, so we can fix problems and show what was sent.

The alerts compare advertised prices only. Advertised prices leave out taxes, title, freight, prep and dealer fees.

Server logs and cookies

Like any website, our servers (and our hosting provider, Vercel) handle technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you ask for. We do this to run the Site, stop abuse and fix problems. We keep these logs for a limited time. The only cookie we set is a first-party session cookie, used on pages with forms to protect them from forged submissions (CSRF). It does not follow you across sites and is not used for advertising.

Who else sees it

Only service providers that help us run the Site, and only to do that job. They are hosting and traffic security, and the email service that sends Report links, confirmations and price-drop messages (an SMTP provider we will name here once chosen). For a "Check availability" request, the dealer you asked about also sees it. We may share information if the law requires it or to protect our rights.

How long we keep it

We keep free Report records (your email address, the listing and the Report) so the link keeps working, until you ask us to delete them. We keep paid-order records from any earlier period as long as needed for refunds, disputes, tax and accounting, generally up to seven years. We delete Check-availability requests after 730 days. We keep opt-out and correction records as a record of what was asked and done. We keep server logs for a short, rolling period. You can ask us to delete or fix personal information we hold about you (see below). We will do so unless we need to keep it for the reasons above.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to fix or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@fairhitch.com. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under your state's privacy law. We will honor reasonable requests wherever you are.

Security

We use encrypted connections and limit who can see Report, order and request records. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what we hold.

Children

The Site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for big changes, say so on the Site. Contact: Tier Services L.L.C. — support@fairhitch.com.

Every number shows where we found it and the date we saw it. We compare listings we saw at dealers in the last 7 days. A price is the advertised price, or the dealer's total with fees when the dealer shows one. Taxes, title and registration are never included. Fees vary by dealer, so ask for the out-the-door price (the full amount you would pay). Advertised prices change, so check with the dealer before you travel or pay.
